Your data and privacy

What vidfora stores, what it never touches, and how to delete your account.

Written by the vidfora team · Updated August 5, 2026

What we store

  • Your account: name, email address and profile picture from Google sign-in
  • Your work: saved boards, tracked channels, folders, alert rules, filter sets, Studio designs and uploaded assets, and personas
  • Billing state: your plan and subscription status

What we never touch

vidfora does not connect to your YouTube channel. Signing in with Google grants us your basic profile only — not your videos, not your analytics, not your subscriber data, and no ability to act on your channel.

Everything vidfora analyses is public YouTube data: public videos, public view counts, public channel pages. Analysing a channel — including your own — reads only what any viewer can see. That's why Live Analyze works on any channel without an API key or an account connection.

Payment data

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card numbers are never sent to or stored by vidfora.

Your uploads

Images you upload to Thumbnail Studio, and persona reference photos, are stored on your account and used to render and generate your thumbnails. They aren't used for anything else.

Deleting your account

[Contact support](/contact-support) from the email address on your account and ask for deletion. We'll confirm and then remove your account and associated data.

If you have an active subscription, cancel it first (or ask us to) so billing stops cleanly. See [Change or cancel your plan](/change-or-cancel-your-plan).

Deletion is permanent — boards, tracked channels, Studio designs and personas can't be recovered afterwards. If you only want to stop paying, cancelling is the better option: it keeps everything and drops you to the Free plan.
